Following the catastrophic fire in Crans-Montana, several seriously injured individuals are being treated at the University Hospital of Zurich. At the severe burn center, doctors are still fighting to save the lives of those affected.
Those responsible at the hospitals and emergency services deserve praise not only for their medical efforts, but also for their exceptional communication skills.
Representing the many healthcare institutions, Marcel Schlatter, media spokesperson for the University Hospital of Zurich, spoke on SRF Tagesschau a few hours after the disaster. Clear and composed, without hiding his emotions, he also addressed the great suffering of the relatives.
